Just the info I'm looking for. Thanks! With that in mind, does anybody
on the list have a 69-up set they want to sell? Name your price and
we'll see what we can arrange.
Thanks,
Dave.

You can use just about anything from a 283, later 307 and 327 frame

307 and 327 mounts will work when used together. You might want to
consider though the 69 up frame and block mounts due to the lock
feature for safety. Been there done that and learned the hard way.

Like most rumor's, it's false. Remember there are FRAME mounts and
ENGINE
mounts. The 307 didn't appear until 1968 and 6-cyl frame mounts have
no more
in common with the 307 mounts than they do any others. You'll have to
change your frame mounts for a V8 anyway. A quick parts search
online shows
the 305 taking a different engine mount than a 67 small block - may
just be
a style difference, can't say. I'd first get the correct frame
mounts then
ask the parts guy for engine mounts for the 305 and see if they fit
the
frame mounts.

It's a 67. That's what I was afraid of, but I had heard a rumour that
the 6cyl and the 307 used the same frame mounts. Any truth to that? If
I do have to change the frame mounts, what do I look for?
Thanks,
Dave.

Heya,
I have a 1989 305 TPI that I want to put in my 67. The car now has
the
stock 250 inline six. What motor mounts do I need, and what do I tell
the counterguy at the parts store?
Thanks,
Dave.
