Powder coat the frame, any colour your little heart desires. If you are going to return the car to original, black is the best.Powder coating is really neat,it is really tough and looks great. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Karl Groves" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Subject: [Chevelle-list] Best primer - frame/ suspension parts

With the rotisserie almost done, I'm within a week or two of taking my body
off the frame.
I plan on sanding/ sandblasting it down as well as removing, sanding/
sandblasting all the suspension stuff as well.
My question is, what sort of primer should I use on these parts? Because of where I am doing this (outside, not in an enclosed area), I'd prefer to use a rattle can, but if that's not going to yield good results, I'll do what I
have to do (and I have a compressor and an HVLP gun).

Anyone have any advice on this?
