Are you referring to the little "rubber" check
valve underneath the membrane?

There is a check valve in the accelerator pump circuit, I can't
remember exactly where it is. If the check valve is not seating, the
fuel doesn't get pushed up into the squirter properly. I'll get back to
you later on where the valve is. This is a Holley carb isn't
it?
