I installed a set of Sanderson intermediates on my 68 Elky w/BBC and highly
recommend them. One thing to watch is that most intermediate headers won't
clear the Z-bar. Patriots won't and not sure about Hedmans. Pretty sure the
Sandersons will but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
My 68 had a built 700R4 and of course my 69 has a Viper T56. Sanderson's SBC
intermediates will clear my Z-bar cause I've already asked.

'69 Chevelle, manual trans with stock clutch setup, 454 engine, stock

heads.

I have the Hooker comp full length headers now, and they hang way too
low. I'm going to a 'shorty' style header or a 3/4 length so I can have
the exhaust custom built to tuck up closer to the floor board.
I want a set of headers that fit, look nice, are coated to continue to
look nice, etc.
Which headers should I consider? I see lots of choices.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Mike
