I talked to Jesse at AJ Foyt and they have some kind of scanner that does the job. He said some times it works very well and sometimes it doesn't. We'll see.
I have called so many people trying to find the original owner. I'm not through looking, but it hasn't been easy! The truck looks great and the color combination is so unique, and it would not be my choice if I was going to have a truck painted, but...after you look at it a while, you really like it. Everyone I have sent a picture to, including Primedia Publications liked it! It has a few small problem areas and only needs a touch up not a repaint job. The second owner said he thought it was Ford Colors from around 1990. I don't know where to look for 1990's Ford paint colors. I thought he told me Chevy colors, now it's Ford colors, but I might have heard him wrong! I wish I could find the magazine and article the truck was in! Dan- Don't rely on a picure to accuratly represent the colors of your new baby. Good paint stores should be able to take a machine out to the vehicle to analyze the paint color and reproduce it.
