It's approximately 4", but do as suggested and take a measurement from the old
frame. It will be easy to shorten it but be sure to measure twice and cut once.

The frame has the same wheel base,just that the El Camino frame is longer
The difference is "BEHIND" the Rear wheels. I do not have the exact
measurements in front of me but it like 2 3/4 inches that needs to be sectioned
out of the El Camino frame. Finding a convertible frame is like looking for a
needle in a haystack. Your El Camino frame will work with this "minor"
alteration. I will look and see if I can find the exact measurements for the
cut. You can try to find something online by doing a Google search. If you have
your old frame measure it and then measure the El Camino frame. Everyone that I
know that has done this has said it was pretty simple.
