Mine has 15 x 7 on the front and 15 x 8 on the rear. The rear tires are 275
60 15. The fronts are 215 65 15. I have a ton of clearance in the back,
but I also have a 66 rear in mine so it's a bit more narrow than the 68-72
rear.

Yeah, the Outlaw I would work with narrower tires. Seems like they would
have to be about 1.5" narrower. As you say, you were running 235's on the
rear of a '67 w/ Outlaw I 15x8s while others are saying that they are
runing 275s easily on 15x8s with 4.5" backspace.
Luckily I will have a chance to see Tom Rightler's '70 on Sunday. I'm
pretty sure he has 15" wheels.

I'd guess that any one-piece 15x8 wheel would have the same, or close,
offset/backspacing due to mass production. You'd almost have to go with
a
2-piece custom offset wheel to get the specs you desire. Do you have an
idea of what your tire choice requires in the way of offset/backspacing?
