3862527 is the GM number for a 4.56 ring gear; 9 41 is the pinion and ring
gear teeth. Can't help with the 4 67 though. Casting numbers don't ring a
bell either. ? No pictures came through the mailing list.

I did some horse trading awhile back and end up with this GM 12 posi unit.
It looks to be a 3 series carrier with a spacer with a 4.56 ring and pinion.
The number stamped on the ring gear is 1 GM 3862527 9 41 4 67. Can anyone
confirm this? I'm making the assumption that 4 67 is the manufacturing date.

The cast numbers on the carrier are- EDB-30140 2 and a 301 at the
bottom. See attached pictures. Any help would be appreciated. Tom
