I had an original TX 1946 license plate refurbished for my old 46 Chevy truck. I put it on the truck the other day, used some fasteners from O'Reily's that where plastic with red reflectors on one side! I went to El Campo and back to Wharton, and it was gone! I retraced my route in the truck today and found nothing!
What really makes it sad is the plate was the original one with the truck and was used in a magazine article! Oh well it's just a plate. If anyone hears of someone that has a 1946 Texas license plate for sale. Please keep me in mind! Dan Mascheck Wharton, TX
