Hey Chuck,The dash pad just came off of my '70 two days ago as part of the long-dreaded heater core replacement (which is now complete). I'll check for you to see if the clock is accesible.
The clocks are easy to fix. I have never seen a reason to convert to quartz.I have a listing for 1970 Olds dash paint Medium Sandlewood - Ditzler 23323. Might be the same (but might not). Maybe somebody here could verify.
