Krister- With a better ignition, you may find that a larger gap and a colder plug are better. Trial and error is going to be the only way to find out. The main benefits I saw when I installed one in a vehicle years ago were easier cold starting, better throttle response and maybe a little better on gas. This was my experience replacing a set of worn out points. Probably not such a difference with new points.
