Funny, that's the one I have but couldn't remember where I got it. LOL! I
think I got it when I got my aluminum radiator from them and thought I might
need it if I had to go to electric fans - never did and it's still sitting
in my toolbox.

There are GM housings with a fitting to temp sensor, just don't remember
what they fit originally but should be available at parts stores if you can
find their OEM application.

Thanks Dale. I also found this one that has 2 3/8" fittings:
http://www.streetrodstuff.com/Products/1749/
The price is a little better. I've also read that some GM housings actually
have a fitting for temp sensor in them, but have not been able to find one
yet. I wish I had thought of this problem in advance. I could have had a
bung put in the radiator. Live and learn. Thanks.

Check http://cantonracingproducts.com/coolant_acc/coolant_acc.html about
half way down the page, item #80-116. It's a water neck spacer that fits
between the intake and the water outlet housing. It has a single half-inch
NPT port and two 3/8-inch NPT ports for temp senders/lines. Two of the
ports would need to be plugged off and you could use a reducer bushing to
accept your fan temp switch. A little pricy at $55 though.

Another (albeit ugly IMO) option is a later model water inlet housing that
is tapped for a sensor. Not sure what they came on originally but I've seen
them.

Well I installed the alumitech radiator and dual Spal electric fans today.
Everything seems to work correctly. However, I did run into one small
problem. The fans and temp gauge will not run off the same sender ... duh!
I thought about just moving the fan sender to the heads, but 66 heads do not
have a sender fitting. So what are my options? What have others done? I
suppose one option would be to put the fans on a manual switch, but that
would be a pain and what if you forget to turn them on. Thanks.
