When I got into bodywork I started out with a Chicago Pneumatic CP870 (only
reason I can remember the part # is when I sold parts these were the best
sellers we carried) I used it for a long time and then a friend gave me the
Hutchins and I have never hooked that CP back up since!!! You can shape body
filler with them so much easier, you still might want to finish it by hand but
it makes it all so much easier. I was at Lowes the other day they have a
palm-type D/A that looks like a pretty good unit I think it was in the
nieghborhood of $80.00 and would last pretty good as long as proper care is
taken. I have a couple of thier air tools and for the money they cann't be
beat. If you are going to be welding and grinding around your fresh argent
silver, make sure to cover it up or it will get peppered with the spatter. Let
us know how it turns out and if you need anymore info, just ask.
