If you stay with the smaller tube size you should be fine. Street headers not competition.
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of William Piper Sent: Wednesday, July 16, 2008 9:34 PM To: 'The Chevelle Mailing List' Subject: [Chevelle-list] Header delimma Once again I find a dilemma during the assembly of our 67 Chevelle. I am looking for a set of mid-length headers for a big-block. The Chevelle is or will be lowered a couple inches and believe if I use long tube headers I will have significant problems with driveways and speed bumps. With mid-length headers I believe I can tuck the pipes up closer to the body. Has anyone used mid-length headers of a 64-67 Chevelle without significant modification to the header or frame? I'm not opposed to a long tube header if they tuck nicely between the frame rails. As always I appreciate the assistance. Tom
