At least early Baltimore (October/November), early Kansas City (October), and early Van Nuys (September) build sheets I have code the SS wheels as YA; all later SS cars show AO. I have no data that early for Arlington or Flint so I can't say.
Calvin's lists an AM code for 70/71 Camaro except SS Z28. A little difference in offset is listed, .50 for the AM and .34 for the AO & YA. I took them off of my 70 Malibu, would you know what the correct coding should be for 70? I can tell you it's not a 69 SS Chevelle rim. The 69 SS would have a YA code.
