Check the voltage at the starter end of the battery cable. Let us assume you
have bright head lights, horn, dash lights don't dim when you crank. Any of
the above check resistance of battery cables.

My Chevelle will not start or even turn over. Last time out (approx. 4
months ago), it started fine and ran good. No sign of any problem. Went to
start it up over the week-end and nothing. Charged the battery and had it
checked out......battery checked out good. Still will not start or turn
over. I'm wondering if it's the starter and hoping not something more
serious / costly.
    I'm planning on working on it this week-end and was looking for some
advice on what to look for  and check out.
