community.
What I would love to suggest is that you collaborate with immigrant righst
organizations particularly activist in
the area where you now reside. This way you will learn first from people
that have been raided by ICE. also you will learn from other veterans that
have been doing activist work; you will be operating in the trenches.
Everyone has life experiences to share, I am sure you will also contribute
to this movement. Please keep in touch and let us know how things are going

Dear Rosendo. Hi, I am Joel Wenger. I used to live in Ann Arbor, and it
is from you and your organization that i learned of ICE and their peculiar
and offensive action. I now live in Jackson, WY, and have come to find out
that some of the same stuff goes on here. (ie, ICE takes parents and leave
the child behind to fend for themselves. Parents cannnot contact etc)
But i would like to work towards a moratorium on Raids and deportations in
teton county. I know you have some experience with this, and i also know I
have none. But you gotta start somewhere. I deeply respect the movement
you have started there and would love to get something similar going to put
some pressure on enforcement agencies to treat people humanely. I just want
some ideas on how to do this i guess.
