Meanwhile parsing the html output of cmark into sxml should give you pretty much exactly equivalent sxml. Thoughts? Re the second patch: I do have some eggs that depend on pkg-config, but recently I've come to think it's another external dependency for the user, where I think the current egg will work more generally with judicious environment setup. I suppose I could be swayed, but I'd like to know what the general consensus on this is, if there is one. Diego
