The one that I have found to be the easiest and cheapest (once parents are
registered, litters are registered free) and the one that is generally most well
known (next to AKC of course) is the CKC the web address for them can be found
by doing a search for Continental Kennel Club ...I referred to it as canine
kennel club in the prior post...sorry...it is Continental. I do not know the
address but a search should find it easily.

Thanks
for the info. Do you know of any websites that would guide me
through the process? They don't have to be AKC registered; we just
want some sort of registration.

Unless both parents are AKC, there is no way to register the pups AKC,
however, most of the other forums can be used to register the pups. For
example you can register CKC, simply by showing proof the sire is AKC and
by registering the mother CKC (canine Kennel club,....not Canadian Kennel
Club) which is done by having two witnesses swear to the full-breed of the
dog. Once both parents are registered the pups can then be registered.
This is similar for most of the different forums. The AKC is the only
canine registration forum in the US which guarantees the full breed of the
pups since the only way to register is if both parents and all the
generations before them have also been registered. > Marsha >
