Hello all,
I have a few questions about raising chihuahua puppies. I have taken
over the responsibility of my dad's puppies. They puppies were born on
6/1/05. I'm giving the dam esbilac (replacement milk) twice a day
along with a full bowl of half PurinaOne adult and Royal Canin puppy
food.
I was wondering when the pups should be wormed and given their shots.
Also, when is it okay to separate them from their mom? When can the
weaning process begin? How is it done? I planned on using the Royal
Canin baby dog formula as their first solid food and Eukanuba canned
puppy food.
My last question is about bowel movements. Is there anything I should
be looking for as far as color or consistancy etc.?
Any advice would greatly be appreciated! I'm keeping one of the pups
and want them as healthy as possible. Please help!
