marsha, thanks very much for the info regarding the growling. not knowing this, we thought the worst on the mom. the mom chi is really a snot towards other non chi's and we thought she was resorting to her nasty side even towards her own babies. will let her back in and watch how it goes.
can breeders thoughts be shared here why they think chi's need 12 weeks before being let go.and not eight . What kind of behavior problems would incur if let go at 8 weeks since they no longer are nursing.
