Hello,
I just picked up my baby misty yesterday. I have always loved the chihuahua but have never been able to get one until now. She is so tiny and I want to use the clicker training method to train her. How do I start training her to potty outside. She squats so fast that I have no time to catch her before she has gone pee. I don't want to spank her but I am not sure what to do to make her understand that it is bad to pee in the house. I realize that Ihave just gotten her but what can I do to help her not cry when I have to go back to work tomorrow. I put her down and she cries. The only time she does not cry is when I hold her and as much as I want to just hold her all the time I want her to learn that she cannot always be carried. That she needs to get down and play and such. If there is anyone who can give me some advice that would be wonderful.
