I have both. My male is so sweet & constantly wants to be with me, while my little girl seems to be more independant, still a cuddlebug but when she feels like it. I admire this in her. I love them both, but I have always preferred females. My male is so sweet & devoted I have to say I would take either, just raise a new puppy with lots of love & cuddling. They all have their own personality. I am getting a new male who is a brother to my male, from a different litter, & am hoping they'll get along. Cyndie
