You can check for dehydration by gently pulling the skin on a dogs neck. If
it goes back easily, it is not dehydrated, if it tends to stay up for a while,
it probably is.

I took "Stella" to the vet this past Monday for her 1st Dr.
visit and he said she was fine.....I voiced my concern about her not
drinking and he said she was fine and that she will learn to drink....he said
to keep putting water on her food....he said she did not look like she was
dehydrated at all.
I am a worrier I guess. :o)
