We have 3 little ones, 2 Yorkies and a long-haired Chi. We put up gates between the kitchen and the carpeted areas of the house. We also put pads down on the linoleum floors and it seemed to work. They are used to the kitchen area and we never have any more accidents on the carpet, which is a blessing since we have dark brown carpet..LOL.. The gates we have are made from metal grate shelving bought at Home Depot. They can see through them so they don't feel penned off from the rest of the house.
Good luck Lauren..

Subject: [Chihuahuas] Wee-Wee Pads
I go to school then I usually go to the gym right after so I am not home until 5pm mon-fri.
I have wee-wee pads for my chi and he usually uses them when I am around. but the problem is, he keeps pooping around the house when I am not around! I even have that spray that you spray on his pad so he will want to dispose there.
yet I still find little presents in the rest of my house! Any suggestings for training? crating is not an option since I am gone for too long during the day.
thanks, Lauren
