when angel came into rescue a few
years ago she had a bump on her nose, the vet ended up
removing it, it was a good size about the size of a pea cocoa had surgery
not too long ago she had a lump near her hip that was a
cyst just fatty cyst but it bothered her because of the location of
where it was cathy
An outside dog has an address not a home

This
sounds silly, but, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience (not
necessarily a specific chi issue) with a lump on your
dog.
My American Eskimo dog had a lump on her
back right before her tail. I noticed it when she was young. It was small
and didn't seem to bother her. With all her fur I forgot about it. The
last couple of years Sassy has had alot of allergy problems so I shaved
her off about 2 years ago. I then noticed the small lump looked like it
had a scab on it. I picked it off and it looked like a big black head. I
pressed it and got alot of cheesy thick stuff out of it. I thought it was
like a zit and would then heal. Wrong. It got bigger and turned into a
nasty sore. The vet said it was a cyst and had to do surgery to remove it.
Your dog may just have something little that doesn't matter, but don't
forget to keep an eye on it. Sassy's lump stayed the same for years before
it started to bother her. Betty
