I think your dog's body lanuage tells it all. No wagging all over usually means they are
not happy and for your own protection and Sophie's I'd keep those kids or even Adults
away from her.

Also, I should add with Sophie, she gets all wiggly and tail wagging whenever I or a few other people come near her, but with this little niece she just seemed to sit in my lap and kind of put up with her attention.
