I've been going through the same thing with our bulldog pup. My
problem was that she would always go outside when we take her, but
would also hide in the house somewhere to potty when ever she felt
like it. She would not "hold it" at all. We were having quarter size
urine accidents all over the house! She never went in front of us, but
would go behind the couch, etc. A friend of mine suggested putting her
on a leash in the house in which ever room we are in (in sight). This
has worked very well for us! She knows we can see her so she holds it
now. By doing this you can catch your dog in the act when she has an
accident. Then tell her in a strong voice, NO! WE GO OUTSIDE TO POTTY!
Then take the pup straight out. Hope this works for you. It sounds
weird, but has been great for us! ~Lacey
