You are right, You love them anyways, However one of the reasons I
chose a Chi over a beautiful toy Dashound was because I love the look
of those ears....... I also dont believe it's silly. It is part of the
standard of the breed. If breeders and owners don't breed or help a bit
with apparance, then the standard is lost, and our beautiful little
Chi, might just be beautiful little hound dogs. I don't condone
cropping, ears or tails, on my Dobies, it was done before they were
given to me, but if a piece of tape will make a difference to a lazy
ear, why ruin the dog's looks. To me thats about like not allowing a
child to have glasses because he has a lazy eye, but you love him
anyways. Besides of which if your paying anywhere from two hundred to
five hundred dollars for a pup from championship lines and you ever
want to breed it, you not only love it but you do your best to have it
looking good. That little piece of tape doesn't always work, in which
case you just love them. But it doesn't hurt to try. Medically, dogs
with upright ears are not as prone to infections etc, as breeds with
droopy ears...... Just my opinion. Kay [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:
