I checked out the ingredients. Its a lot better than grocery store brand and some of the pet store stuff. Some of the stuff on the market is just garbage! I've done a lot of research in the last month. I've talked to a lot of people and got lots of opinions. As far as the lifestyle goes dried beet pulp has a lot of sugar in it and that is the 5th ingredient. Salt is added thats not good for blood pressure. It also has fish meal in it. Salmon meal has much more of the Omegas and protien. I didn't see any Biotin listed which is one of the essential ingredients for Chis and other dogs. Maybe I just didn't see it I can't believe they left it out but I couldn't find it. The rest of the ingredients look good.
The main problem that I have with this company is that they are a multi-level marketing company. I don't like to deal with those type of outfits myself. Wellness is one of the best I've found. They are both Human Grade and have all natural ingredients. There are some other good ones out there too. I settled on Wellness super5 puppy for my Chi because it is available locally. Parent Company is Old Mother Hubbard. They have been in business since 1926. He eats it like its the best thing he ever ate. Thier web site is http://www.omhpet.com if you want to check them out. I have a very tired baby chi asleep in my lap using a blue stuffed cow as a pillow.
