Hi Marsha,

I think the AKC breeders here get around $600-$700 a pet quality
puppy, if they are ethical and not trying to get thousands. I know
that a stud can be paid or pick of the litter. I was offered that
with Harv, but because the male can be hurt, distance, etc, I
decided not to. I do know that if the dog has won in competition
they make more money. I am probably going to the chihuahua show in
Lincoln, IL this year and I will interview and ask people for the
group. Last year I went and had a blast. Harvey tried to jump in the
ring with all the chi's, he was so cute!
