That stinks.  I have had a ton of emails lately, so I am not sure why you keep his harness or collar on all the time.  I know that I would keep ID on Trinity if she could slip outside, but she can’t. I have a small room that goes outside with it’s own “second” door outside, so I don’t really worry about her ever escaping. Actually, we live on a 55 acre farm and she never wants to be out of my sight.  But, what if you only put the harness or collar on when you need to go outside?

I know Trinity knows that when I get her collar and sweater she is in for a romp outside.  These guys can be tough critters! LOL

Best,

Patricia

Subject: [Chihuahuas] New Harness Destroyed!!!

I am so mad! But I guess I should have known better. I know he chews up collars, that is why he has a metal one. But I thought he was over it, or at least out of the habit. Nope, He chewed off his harness. He had it one day. I put it on him and within 24 hours he has chewed it off. I guess now I know not to buy him any type of cloth-like collars or harnesses. So dejected. I really liked that harness, but I guess he did not.
