I agree that the boy needs help, but this is not likely a helpful response.  He needs intensive counseling, perhaps even as an inpatient if Marsha feels that he is a threat to himself or others.  He needs to learn how to control his anger…but Marsha lashing out at him in anger would not be an appropriate way for her to role model appropriate anger management.  JMO and yes, I have 4 children….

Nonnie....No you do not have anything to apologize for and I, for one, am glad you spoke up for the innocent little animal that probably never harmed a living soul  its whole life. I, too, was appalled when I read the original post telling us what happened. Everyone seems to be more concerned about offending the human and over looking what the innocent animal went through.

Before anyone on here tells ME to think twice and read my email over a couple times before I send it let me assure you I not only thought once, twice, three times but more like 4-6 times so I do not regret this post and also I have no intention of replying to any posts that is responsive to this. I just don't feel Nonnie should be talked down to the way she has been just because she thought of the poor little helpless animal instead of a young man that apparently can't control his anger and needs help desperately. I only hope his mother sees this as a definite cry to help before it is to late...normajean

I really don't think I said anything out of line to be honest with you.  I will say this ... according to Marsha's own statement she knew that there was a potential problem in her home and had problems with her son before this incident.    I am sure she is very horrified over what happened and there is no win in this situation because I'm sure Marsha is torn in both directions.

No parent wants to see bad in their child.  No matter what their child does they stick by them.  I'm different.... and its probably easy for me to say this objectively because I have not had a child and its really easy to faults in other people's children and be amazed that the parents do nothing to remedy the situation.  So many kids are out of control and parents just don't know what to do or do nothing because doing something would cause more problems until the situation is so bad that they MUST do something.

I think enough said about this situation.  It needs to rest.

well maybe you should of thought ahead before opening your mouth and speaking

Nonnie <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

no I wouldn't have my dogs around my horses because that would be an accident waiting to happen.  I don't bring the Punk with me to the stable.  If he is out of the little fenced yard I have, he is either in my arms or at the end of the leash.  I always take precautions with all my animals.

My horses do NOT get in the trailer without legwraps and head bumpers even though my trailer is the tallest you can get.  Precautions.  We change tires every 3 years although they are not worn out just in case of dry rot.  Safety first.

I am someone who looks ahead and minimizes any and all potential risks to my animals.

Nonnie, again I suggest you think twice and read twice before sending.
Oh and put on glasses so you can see what awful crap your writing.
I suggest silence at this point.  This is a bad enough situation
without you going off like some half crocked crazie woman...

You don't have children, so don't say a word until you have walked a
mile in a mothers shoes.  So let's discuss what you can understand.

If one of your horses stomps one of your dogs, what are you going to
do....  shoot the horse?
