Chris, how old is Bear? Not sure how much you trust your vet or how long you have used him. Most vets will go ahead and pull any retained baby teeth at the time of spaying or neutering to avoid putting the animal under anesthesia twice. Of course it's your choice. Just wanted to let you know that most chis do have teeth problems. They are notorious for it! I purposely waited to have Fifi fixed until she was 9 mo. to give the teeth extra time to fall out on their own, but they didn't. I'll be praying for Bear through his surgery. :) ~Lacey
