You are right Lacey, they do not throw up or have diareah either, with
hypoglycemia. They slow down, they wobble if they walk, they can't
pick up their heads, then they become listless, breathing slows down,
their bodies cool off, they become cold to the touch. They can not
move, they can not blink their eyes, wag their tales or tongues. They
can not throw up or poop. They can not do anything. If you pick one
up at this point it's body is stiff and doesn't bend. At this point
they need professional care. IV's etc. Heat lamps, body rubs and
medications.
Long before this point I'm going to go all caps and tell you to rush
to the vet.
It takes hours to get them warmed up and functioning again. And what I
described above can not be treated at home unless that person is a Vet
and has all the necessary equipment at hand.
So throwing up and or diareah definately is not a sign of hypoglycemia.
