They have begun DNA testing with AKC - hope this will eliminate 'some' of the dishonest AKC breeders.  That is one of the rumors I've heard as to why some breeders have switched to APRI.  As with all registries - there are holes that enable the dishonest people to lie and incorrectly register litters.
