I have a question... any one else find that potty training a chihuahua is a LIFE time job?! Ugh! I love my babies dearly - and I try to ALWAYS be consistent.. (although there times I am not, of course.) But they are crate trained, and go out potty ATLEAST every two hours when I'm home and they are out free... Help! Any suggestions?? (I have tried, puppy litter.. my boy stands in it, lifts his leg and sprays all around out side of it... *LoL* so I stopped that, puppy pads, they chew up.. so I bought a washable one, they DO not go on it... I've tried treats, and I've tried squirting them with water when they potty in the house...the ONLY thing I haven't tried is newspaper, but I just really don't want to go that route... and I don't really have any place that would work anyway....
