Hi Jaye, I take a small rubber mat with me to the vets for Tia to stand on when she's on the examining table, it really helps a lot. I don't let her walk on their floors, I carry her in her little tote, it seems to be less stressful for her.

Mija's vet appointment is June 12th and we been visiting the vets office off and on lately so that she won't be terrified when we finally do go for her shots and check up. Mija doesn't care for people trying to take her away from me she gets really bent out of shape. She cant stand on a hard table because of her legs and she can't walk on tile  too slipper for her bowl legged back legs. So I am a little worried as to how she is going to get a check up if she won't go to anyone with out flipping out. Last year she didn't know me to well when I took her in because I took her 2 days after I got her and she did ok. She's had a year now to bond with me and own me, now I am not sure how this vet appointment is going to go. I socialize her pretty well and she has never been aggressive but gets very agitated if anyone attempts to take her away from me.  If she's on the ground and your patient she some times will come up to you if you have a nice little treat for her but that not all the time. The vets floors are all tile and she she can't stand up on tile very well at all. So just worried about stressing her out.
