Everybody knows chi's are just stuffed animals that bark and pee. im here to tell you the chihuahua are very hard to train and will eventually drive the owner to drinking. They bite everybody in site. They will grow to be 6.8 feet tall and dunk a basketball. So if you want a good trouble free dog, get a pit bull.

My advice would be to frist contact the breeder/s of your female, and male, and find out if there are any defects in the dogs family tree that could harm the pups. If there > is, you should spay your girl right now. If not chances are things will be alright. Next, you need to find all the info on dogs, and whelping(having puppies) you can, and learn, learn, learn. You only have around two months before those puppies will be born. Also due to all the trouble Chihuahuas have in having puppies you need to get a vet on stand by, save up for a possiable emergancy C-section, and as I said in the harsh post be ready to accpet the death of the any, and all puppies, and even the female. I have heard about so many pups dying that were born to competely healhty parents. So many in fact that I am really serching myself to see if I can handle being a breeder of Chihuahuas. I get attached so easily that I'm not sure I could handle one death after the other. However I am also like that other person. Though I think you are very illresponsiable, and shouldn't have a dog until you learn about them I will help you out if I can, and you want my help. If she is pregnate like I am sure she is; you are going to need it. As far as mating them because you love them.... realize that you place your female in jeopardy, set yourself up for major vet bills and alot of people have bred dogs because they love them...... and you know what those loved baby dogs die every day in shelters because others like you breed them, don't want them, get apartments where they can't have them and the dogs die every day from casual matings like this. The other thing I love is when people say they breed their dogs because they want their children to experience the miracle of birth. I say to them rent a dvd or find it online.... Save a dog... But we're planning on keeping 1 or 2 pups of hers. If she does have more then we're expecting then my aunt Carla, my grandmother Rose, and my cousin (27 years old) Liz said they would be able to adopt them.
