could be a territorial thing. Maybe the little guy feels more secure
or even dominant by marking his territory. If they're not new rugs,
maybe he smells very old mistakes made by another animal. A relative
of mine has a 9 year old Maltese who immediately pees on any rug she
can get at. They have NO rugs in the home. I think that's a severe
lack of discipline and leadership on their part. Purely psychological
on the dog's part. This probably doesn't help you one bit, but I wish
you luck! Enjoy your new baby.
