Thank you for the encouraging words. I would love to take her for a
walk, but she does not know how to walk on a leash as she has never
been leash trained. When the foster mom had her for six months after
rescuing her from the puppy mill and was looking for just the right
adoptive home, she would just let her go outside and play in her
fenced in back yard. Also, she is not house trained. Sooooo, at this
early stage I'm just not sure what to do. Also, since Sunday she has
only eaten a few (may 10) kibbles. I am being very patient and
sitting calmy on the floor with toys and treats. She will just take a
treat out of my hand but not come closer than needed.

On a good note, I noticed that if I walk outside to get something she
is standing relately close to the door when I return. She will also
sometimes follow me into the room in my house where I work and
lay/sleep on a blanket about five feet from me.

Thanks again for your supportive words.
