Melody,my husband and I bred Chihuahua's for 10
years,we had to stop because we were keeping one out
of every litter. We now have 9,but breeding the little
dogs is hard, getting them pregnant is no big deal, but
you have to or need to help them when they go to have
the puppies. We stayed right with ours until they had
them,we cleaned them and made sure they were
alright,we lost a few and each time it broke my
heart, but after they came,we kept them in our home in
a separate room,we raised them on paper until they
were 8 weeks old, then we sold themn. We never had any
trouble selling them to good home,I made sure of
that.It did get to where the stress of losing some and
having to just worry about them got to be too much for
me,so we quit.I love my chic's and would not take
anything for them,I don;t worry now,I pray for them
and leave them in God's hands.Good luck with
yours.Sheila
