What I have is not exactly "line bred". His sire is one blood line and his dam is another. So, i can breed to either the Diadem female or Dartan and get nice puppies and a litter that is consistent in type and quality . The tiny male puppy for sale has a Vanderpool sire and mar rich dam.
My young male, now being shown has a Dartan sire and Mar Rich dam. I am anxious to see how he produces. Guess that is the final "proof". .

Supposedly Dinah did have pups before I got her. If this is true, then she was much to young and much to small!!! Since she has been with me, I have skipped two heats trying to get her up to 3 pounds...the smallest I will breed at. She hit the 3 pound mark this heat so I attempted to breed her, but my little boy couldn't do the deed, so I took them to the vet for an AI. I thought she was pregnant...she was showing all the signs....but now that her due date is less than 2 weeks away, I am doubting she is. She has not shown the signs of an advanced pregnancy, although she continues to show signs of an early pregnancy. I guess time will tell, but I seriously doubt it.Out of curiosity, why are you seeking a line bred pup? Many breeders line breed to get a specific quality, but I have never heard of a buyer specifically looking for a line bred...Marsha----- Original Message -----From: BKSent: Wednesday, October 11, 2006 8:28 AMSubject: Re: [Chihuahuas] Tiny Baby ChiI do have a half sister to him. She weighs a whopping 2 lbs 9 ounces on a heavy day..- after dinner. Has your tiny female had any puppies.I wanted to buy a smaller male that was line bred. Yes, he is small - a whopping 2 lbs 12 ounces at the most and he is 11 months old. He has the most wonderful personality - has never met a stranger.Betty

For the longest time, the best we could do was 2 and 3/4 pound. When I got her she was 2 1/2. She is 3 years old now and holding steady at 3 pounds. :-)Marsha----- Original Message -----From: BKSent: Tuesday, October 10, 2006 4:51 PMSubject: [Chihuahuas] Tiny Baby Chithis little boy is the smallest we have ever had in a litter.
According to the charts, he will probably mature at about 2 1/2 lbs. We are sofortuate that he is very active and healthy. Does anyone have one of thesetiny fellows?BJ
