First, Welcome to the group! I am Marsha in KY and I am owned by 5 chis.   I have one chi that we never could put any weight on. I put him on a high protein diet and it helped, but most of the food people I have talked to have said high protein is bad....so I don't know. Turns out though that Peppers teste's were undecended and while that itself wasn't a problem, they were pushing against his stomach and that was preventing him from gaining weight. That was several years ago and he has since been neutered...but he is still just naturally skinny...but not like before.   He sired a litter of pups before being neutered and we kept Salt and he is skinny just like his dad.
