Hi Lee Anne and Zoe. Nice to meet you both!
Wow, Zoe is very small. My Angel is on the very BIG side, so it's hard to imagine - I never even saw Angel when she was quite that small (she was two pounds at six weeks old).
Zoe does sound beautiful - any pics?
I don't know if you need to leave her at home to ward off separation anxiety. (And if you can take her everywhere - and want to - so what?) Look at 'service dogs'. They go everywhere and people aren't (that I know of) worried about separation anxiety. I totally agree - we're the ones who get separation anxiety, hehe.
And congratulations on completing your treatment! I pray everything remains well with you!

Hello everyone!
First, let me introduce my baby. Her name is Zoe and she currently weighs in at a whopping 25 ounces. She was 2 months old on the 24th. She is fawn colored and absolutely the most beautiful puppy I've ever seen... Not that I'm bragging or anything! lol
Zoe is a gift to myself from someone I knew 25 years ago. He raises chis. Zoe was born two days after my last cancer treatment. My last treatment was August 22nd and she was born the 24th. What an awesome gift!!!!
Everywhere I go, Zoe goes, for the most part. I was away from her last weekend and didn't know what to do with my hands! Someone told me that I needed to start leaving her at home so she won't have separation anxiety. I'm the one that gets separation anxiety! I'm a 51 year old grandma who treats this little angel like one of my kids. She's just a baby and I can't imagine leaving her behind. I bring her to work with me every day. Everyone loves her. She is becoming so socialized that she acts hurt when someone walks past without acknowledging her.
Yesterday a good friend gave me a playpen for Zoe and I put her kennel, blankets, and toys in there. She went down around 9:30 last night and slept until 6 this morning. I'm so proud of her!!!!
Okay, so the separation will be that she sleeps in her own bed (unless she decides to sleep with me) and goes with me everywhere else.
I had to go to the cancer center this morning to have a port flush and she was able to go right in with me. I'm going to adapt a purse to carry her when I go somewhere that she must be restrained, like a restaurant.
Okay, I'll admit... I need those meetings... Hi, my name is Lee Anne and I'm a chi-aholic!!!
Gotta lov'm!
Lee Anne
