no. Absolutely not. Nor should they ever be used on a pregnant dog.

I use "Mr Christal's Luxury Shampoo with pure Orange Oil" Any citrus shampoo should work as the fleas don't like citrus. I had to use it 3 years ago when my new neighbors moved in next door with 2 flea infested Rottweilers. I had never had a problem with fleas untill then. I had a new born litter of 5 puppies at the time and they all got the fleas from older ones bringing them in. I started using it on them at about 6 weeks old and it worked pretty good.
