I've had laser neutering and spaying done on my dogs and it really does help them heal faster than a regular incision. It costs more but if you can swing it is worth it... less healing after. I got my boy done at 6 mos old and he had no issues whatsoever. Vets are able to do animals very young as long as the animal is healthy. It is the same as doing it to an older animal, no extra risks according to all the vets I have spoken with. I also volunteer for the shelter in my town and they do animals very young and it is very successful. His weight doesn't matter. They have to tailor the anesthesia to his weight so as long as they know his exact weight and it is an experienced vet, I would not worry about it.

Something about them still growing and becoming full size. I've never heard of lasar neutering. But did have my two males both who weigh between 12-14 pounds neutered and all went well. They were 10 months or older when we did this Donna Joey B <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hi All, I happen to have a male & am wondering if anyone has used the laser neutering? Wondered if it is easier on them? My guy is still pretty small but they say they can still neuter via laser. He is 5 1/2 mos & still not yet 3lbs...I was told he would be bigger, about 5lbs. Do you think he will still make it? thanks, jen __________________________________________________________ Sponsored Link $420k for $1,399/mo. Think You Pay Too Much For Your Mortgage?
