Sorry you lost your little pup. Hydrocephalus is fairly common among chihuahuas, seems more so amomg appleheads than deertype. The cerebral fluid either can not drain from the cranium properly, or more rarely is overproduced. If she would have lived she would likely have had seizure disorders and neurological problems. The very first chihuahua we ever had was a little rescue with some hydro, he was a good fellow but lots of health problems and epilepsy and kind of whacky, but a real character.
