Bogie licks my face if he is around when I put on my face cream or lotion. Chap stick etc. I always thought it was the smells Sheila

It was the way to stimulate the mother into giving milk and also regurgitating food (in the wild). Excessive licking as in clothes etc they are licking you as your smells especially the more personal smells are on the couch, your clothes or your bed.
