Hi everyone, just want to share a few tibits about my 9 chic's,they
range from 13 years to 3 years,6 girls and 3 boys,I used to raise and
breed chic's but gave it up after 10 years and ended up with 9.All of
mine are spoiled rotten, they eat together, sleep together, mostly with
us,they get along good with each other too.We live in the woods so
they can go outside and I don't have to worry about them running off.I
do not have any of them leased trained,I feed them maintance
food, mostly at night after supper,I will fix them a plate of whatever
I cooked, cut it up,sit on the couch, they gather around me on the
floor,I start around and give them each some, they mostly wait their
turn, some like to get ahead of the others sometimes.I have lost 2,but
I keep a close eye on them,I watch for any signs of them not feeling
good, limping and things like that. When I do have to take one to the
vet,I have used the same one for years,so I have no trouble with
paying on time, they are real good.I have a 8 year old female that has
seziers, she has had them since she was 5,she takes fenabarbital twice
a day and potassimun bromide once a day,I keep a close eye on her.The
key to keeping our chic's well,is to pray for them just like we do
everything and everyone else.God will watch over them for us.
